Begin your adventure on the Skyride—an aerial tram that will give the whole family epic views as far as the eye can see. At the top of the mountain, grab a bite to eat at the Observatory. Don’t forget to check out the Kid’s Tree Canopy Adventure geared towards children aged 3-8. It’s fully contained and consists of three double treehouses, one single treehouse, slides and ground games with an adjacent area for parents to supervise.

The zoo is an easy go-to activity that’s great for warm sunny days. The Greater Vancouver Zoo is full of interactive and educational activities for kids of all ages. Take a fun train ride on the newly refurbished train. Learn about a variety of animal species from reptiles to raptors at the Keeper Talks. Kids will learn about the daily activities of the keepers and 15 different zoo animals.
Stanley Park is Vancouver’s largest urban park and families can easily fill up a whole day with the abundance of activities it provides. What better way to let kids burn off energy than taking a bike ride along the iconic Seawall. It’s the world’s longest uninterrupted waterfront path! After a scenic bike ride, cool down at one of the many beaches, splash around at the Variety Kids Water Park or swim in the heated outdoor pool. There’s also four playgrounds to explore and don’t forget to ride the miniature train. Phew! Now that’s a serious day full of action!
Located inside Stanley Park, the Vancouver Aquarium is a family-friendly attraction in its own right! With over 50,00 animals and 30 exhibits, the kiddos won’t know where to look first! Check out a show such as Splash & Bubbles: 4-D Undersea Adventure, which will delight the kids. Book an exclusive “Encounter” where you can go behind the scenes for an up close and personal experience with an Aquarium trainer. You’ll learn about the life of a walrus, sea lion or sea otter. This is an experience the kids won’t soon forget!
