What to Expect
We understand that babies' immune systems are still developing and that you as parents or grandparents rightfully expect clean, sanitized products. Because of our commitment to providing spotlessly clean and safe rentals, families have come to love and trust our service. In fact, 99% of our customers said the gear they rented was spotless or very clean!
BabyQuip rental items are inspected and deep cleaned after every pickup and then inspected and sanitized again before the next delivery. We recommend that QPs use organic and/or non-toxic cleaners. Reach out to your local Quality Provider with any questions about specific products or cleaning processes used!
Our Cleaning Process
Quality Providers follow the BabyQuip 3 P’s of cleaning and a thorough 5 step cleaning process.
Products: safe, non-toxic, parent approved cleaning products and tools
Process: following a thorough top to bottom, 360 degree and in every nook and cranny cleaning process
Proficiency: ongoing significant training and a deep understanding of baby gear and the baby gear cleaning process
RENT CLEAN AND SAFE GEARVacuuming We vacuum from top to bottom, inside all moving parts, hidden seams, covers and straps to remove every last crumb.
Cleaning We use a combination of water and mild detergent, or dye-free and scent-free soap (such as castile soap) to remove germs, dirt, stains and impurities from baby gear items. These types of cleaning agents safely clean fabrics and surfaces using surfactants to remove dirt, grease, and common bacteria and viruses.
Sanitizing Quality Providers use steam cleaners or other tools to sanitize and remove a plethora of substances from baby gear including: bacteria, viruses, urine, feces, vomit, grease, and other substances. We follow all product manufacturer guidelines and work directly with manufacturers to follow their best practices for cleaning. For specific details about how we clean car seats, please click here.
Drying We are sure to soak up any excess water and moisture with microfiber cloths and then let the fabric dry completely. We often set items in the sun, outdoors, or in front of a fan to thoroughly dry.
Safe Reassembly We are careful to put all the pieces back together just right.
Expert Quality Providers BabyQuip Quality Providers are trained to meticulously clean and sanitize all rental gear both before and after each delivery. We also stay current on safety recalls and product guidelines relating to children’s safety.
Quality Checks Products are stripped down, scrubbed, steamed, sanitized, washed, and carefully dried, so you can rest assured that the gear you rent is clean and sanitary! BabyQuip Quality Providers take pride in their work and it shows!
