***This gate is pressure mounted and should not be used at the top of a stairway***
This pressure mounted safety gate expands to fit openings between 29"-34" or 35"-38.5" with the included extension and stands 30" tall. Pressure mount design is quick to set up. Before installation there will be a gap between the latch and frame. This is NOT a defect, it will be eliminated when installation is complete. Perfect for doorways, hallway, and bottom of the stairs. Recommended for children 6-24 months and for pets too.
This gate works if the top and bottom of the opening aren't the same width (sometimes the base trim makes the opening at the bottom of the gate narrower than the top at the wall).
Please be sure this will fit your opening. There is no refund once it's delivered or you pick it up since it has been taken out of my inventory.
