However, it is not guaranteed to prevent your baby from falling off a raised surface so always keep your child within arm’s reach. The surface of the baby changing pad has open cells that will act like a sponge through excessive use of water therefore only use a damp cloth and mild detergent and never immerse the product in water. The support surface should be level, stable and structurally sound with a minimum support surface dimension of (19 by 29 inches (483 x 737 mm). The maximum weight for the changing pad is 30 pounds (13.6 kg).
