We are pretty firmly an UPPAbaby stroller household, and the Minu Duo has quickly become one of my favorites for all-day outings with two littles.
At just 27.8" wide, it gives you two full side-by-side seats without feeling huge, fits through standard doorways, and folds surprisingly compactly for a double (it also meets Walt Disney World’s stroller size requirements, where we’ve put plenty of stroller miles on ours!) It even fits comfortably behind the third row in my midsize SUV with the seats up—huge when you need room for six passengers.
Both seats recline independently, and the recline is easy to adjust without disturbing a sleeping kiddo. I especially love a side-by-side with a preschooler because they can easily climb in and out on their own instead of potentially being tucked into the harder-to-access position of a tandem stroller. The tradeoff is that both seats face forward, but the Minu Duo is designed for use from birth with integrated foot barriers and infant-friendly harnesses.
For Minnesota outings, this is a great choice for smoother terrain—think the Minnesota State Fair, Valleyfair, local zoos or museums, shopping, and paved paths. If your plans include rougher trails, uneven surfaces, or snow, I’d look toward the Ridge—or a Vista-style setup if you need room for two.
A quick note about storage: the under-seat basket can feel a little tight with the center support bar, so smaller pouches or packing cubes work best. Your rental also includes two mesh side bags, a parent console, rain shield, and snack trays and/or bumper bars depending on your kiddos’ needs—we’ll confirm your preferred setup before your rental.
