Jason is a Principal at Cleveland Avenue (CA) within its CAST US Fund. Jason leads sourcing and due diligence for investment opportunities for a $70M fund focused on supporting underrepresented entrepreneurs. Jason also leads ongoing portfolio company management, which includes partnering with management teams to drive growth and value creation and representing CA on company Boards.

Jason has over fifteen years of experience in strategy, finance, and mergers and acquisitions-related roles within large, multi-national organizations in the Financial Services and Food & Beverage sectors. Before Cleveland Avenue, Jason was the VP of Transformation for Fonterra USA, where he led long-term strategic vision setting and corporate development for the $1.2B North American division of a global dairy co-op. Previously, Jason served as a Director of Corporate Strategy for TreeHouse Foods and Manager, Strategy & Operations for Deloitte Consulting. Earlier in his career, Jason was a Senior Financial Analyst for Warner Music Group and an Investment Banking Analyst at Lehman Brothers.

Jason earned his Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Morehouse College, where he was a four-year letterman on the basketball team, and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He lives in Bronzeville with his wife and three beautiful children.
