As a mom of two young toddlers and who is the default family trip planner, I am well aware of how much baggage and carry-on items parents have to think about. The thought of lugging additional items that can be awkward and heavy is enough to put a pause in plans. I'm all about ease and comfort so I understand wanting to literally "take the load off".
